PhPerl.com launches new Open Source CRM web application

PhPerl.com updated its Addressbook, Activity Management and Balanced Scorecard open source web applications, and released a new Contact Relationship Management tool.

PhPerl.com updated its Addressbook, Activity Management and

Balanced Scorecard open source web applications, and released

a new Contact Relationship Management tool.

"The main focus of this new application is to manage contacts,

not only customers, but also prospects, partners, suppliers and

competitors", says Nelson Ferraz, PhPerl Technology Director.

"Every contact can be segmented by sector, revenue and

location, and the system tracks events related to each one"

he adds.

"The effective management of a company's contacts and related

events can significantly improve prospecting, sales and customer

experience", says Al de Palma, PhPerl's Administrative Director.

"The fact is that most companies don't exploit the full potential

of their intranets and extranets. PhPerl projects were created to

unleash the power of a networked workplace." he concludes.

All PhPerl projects are released under the Free Software

(GNU GPL) license, allowing users to run, copy, distribute, study,

change and improve the software.
