Global Transportation Trade Association Reaches Membership Milestone

The Household Goods Forwarders Association of American (HHGFAA) welcomes member 2,000 into its membership ranks

January 1, 2008 marked the beginning of a new year; it also marked a new milestone in the 45 year history of the Household Goods Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (HHGFAA). As of the first of the year, HHGFAA now represents over 2,000 member organizations in a 167 countries.

HHGFAA membership manager, Jean Mathis indicated that she was "very pleased to be able to welcome member 2,000 during the month of January", and the Association's President, Terry Head said that "our continued strength and growth is a testament to our global membership and the industry's pivotal role in advancing global commerce".

HHGFAA growth was also recently evident during the organization's 45th Annual Meeting and Tradeshow in New York City, throughout which over 2,000 attendees from over a 100 countries had the opportunity to network and establish new business relationships in what is the International Moving and Forwarding Industries largest annual gathering and trade show.
