Webcast to Support US Troops Launched in Atlanta

Local Production Group creates on-demand webcast for friends,loved ones and well-wishers to share messages of support for our US Troops.

ATLANTA, April 3, 2003 -- Creative Illusions Productions and Doyoustream? Productions have joined forces to create an On-Demand Webcast for friends, loved ones and well-wishers to share messages of support for our U.S. troops. Individuals and families who wish to participate will have their personal messages of support for our men and women in uniform, video taped and streamed over the Internet. The free video tapings are 90 seconds per family and 1 minute per individual.

The first Webcast took place on Saturday March 29, 2003. Videos taped during this session can be viewed at www.doyoustream.com/supportourforces. There will be a second Webcast on Saturday, April 5, 2003 from 10am-2pm at the USA Classic Diner located at 660 Indian Trail Road, Lilburn, Georgia.

The idea for this project was conceived after watching the streaming media being sent from embedded reporters and from other news sources. These news clips included messages from service men and women for their loved ones back home.

We have family members and friends in the Armed Services and in Iraq that need our support," said Kim Brame, founder and executive producer, Creative Illusions Productions. This project gives us an opportunity to use our expertise in technology and support our troops and their loved ones during this difficult time of war."

Members of the production team will travel to San Diego, CA and Jacksonville, FL to tape messages for the troops over the next few weeks. They plan to go to various locations to continue to add to the Webcast until all of the Armed Forces return from Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Those who participate in the project and are videotaped will be given a special web address to share via email with their friend or loved one, allowing them to view their message. In addition, the web address will be posted throughout various Military communication services including the USO.
