Bacche, a new organic clothing line that fuses Indian and American design for kids, launches its inaugural Spring/Summer 2008 collection through select retailers across the U.S.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 31, 2008 -- Bacche, a new Indian-inspired organic clothing line for kids, launches its inaugural Spring/Summer 2008 collection through select retailers across the U.S.

Bacche, which means "children" in Hindi, combines American design, stressing comfort and ease of use, with a rich palette of Indian colors and images. All of Bacche's designs are created in the U.S. and overseen by Ms. Julia Szkiba O'Connor, a designer from Los Angeles with over 15 years of experience designing clothing for children.

Bacche's clothing is made with 100% organic cotton, eco-friendly dyes and socially conscious production practices so that parents get what's best for their child while doing what's right for the world. Bacche will also donate part of its profits to charities that focus on empowering and educating women and children in India.

The Spring/Summer 2008 collection will feature t-shirts and crawlers for boys and girls, ranging from ages 0 to 3 years. The collection will retail for $26 - $32 through 7 physical locations and 1 online store, starting February 2008.

Bacche was the brainchild of three friends who were looking for baby shower gifts with a difference. As South-Asian Americans, they wanted products that reflected both their heritage and pride in their adopted homeland. Their interest in creating socially responsible products for kids was also integral to the creation of Bacche.
