How to Prepare for any Disaster was written by the president of Emergency Preparedness Center, Mike Petersen. Petersen has been involved in the emergency preparedness industry for over 15 years. He decided to write this guidebook to help people know how to prepare for and cope with different types of disasters. If people are prepared, they wont need to panic in times of emergency," says Petersen.

Although the guidebook covers what to do during and after various emergency situations, the focus of the guidebook is on being properly prepared for anything that could happen. It is clear that Petersen believes in his companys slogan, Its better to be 5 years early than 1 minute too late."
