He brings to his new position more than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry.

Prior to joining Casa Dorada, Baurez worked extensively with Camino Real Hotels & Resorts throughout Mexico. Most recently as Corporate Director of International Sales in Mexico City, he was in charge of international promotions and sales for 24 properties. He also received valuable experience in hotel openings as the Tour and Travel Manager of the Marquis Los Cabos Beach, Golf, Spa & Casitas Resort, also in Mexico.

Baurez has extensive hospitality education from all over the world, receiving multiple degrees from educational institutions in Mexico and Canada and a Master in International Business from Macquarie University in Australia.

A native of Mexico, Baurez is fluent in French, Spanish and English.
