Soldiers' Angels shipped over 270,000 pounds (that's 135 tons) of support to our troops serving overseas in 2007.

Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) January 18, 2008 -- Soldiers' Angels shipped over 270,000 pounds (that's 135 tons) of support to our troops serving overseas in 2007.

"we don't have any stores the closes thing we have here is about a three hour drive we have to wait till the supplies get here that's if it even makes it the roads here are so dangerous that sometimes we would have to wait a month or two till we get the supply we really need"

Soldiers' Angels' mission since 2003 has been to support all our troops, and the list of needs is long: personal hygiene items like toothpaste/toothbrushes; deodorant; shampoo; baby wipes; foot powder; chapstick; razors; female hygiene products; toilet paper; cough medicines. Clothing items requested include: bedding (pillows, sheets etc); towels; socks; Tactical Boots; gloves; hand warmers; thick winter socks; bras, and the list goes on and on.

In 2007 we answered every request. We are able to ensure "No soldier goes unloved", because of the generous support of thousands of Angels globally, and valued corporate donors: Dunkin Donuts recently gave TON of coffee to SA, for shipment to our troops; Green Bean is also an ongoing valued partner.

Soldiers' Angels is proud to stand with every hero, both overseas and at home. Our mandate will continue as long as any hero needs us. This year - 2008 - the needs continue, and we still need YOUR help….In 2007, your generous donations ensured that every soldier adopted by us felt the love and support. We couldn't do what we do - for them - without you!
