SQL LiteSpeed is the new approach of backing up SQL Server databases quickly and securely. Unlike existing technologies, SQL LiteSpeed compresses and encrypts all data as it backs up. The size of the backup file is a significant reduction of the original database size, maximizing storage efficiency, while the state of the art 128 bit encryption algorithm ensures that backups cannot fall into the wrong hands.
