CEO Counselors Publishes First International Survey of CEOs Opinions about Value gained by Investments in Technology and Systems

CEO Counselors surveyed Presidents and CEOs of businesses on every continent to ascertain their confidence about the amount of money they were spending on systems, whether they were getting value for their investments and other key issues. Respondents identified security as the #1 issue, but every topic was critical to some of the chief executives.

Tampa, FL and Chicago, IL (PR WEB) --- CEO Counselors announced the release of their 2003 survey. This years focus is on the value that a business gets from investments in technology. Survey data was collected during March and April 2003.

Results of the survey are posted at the CEO Counselors website and reported to the participants with a comparison between the responding company and the universe of respondents. The summary results will be used in academic training at several leading Universities at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

CEO Counselors asked CEOs and Presidents of international businesses about their confidence that their organizations were spending the right amount of money on technology and information systems and nine other key issues in information systems.

Respondents identified security as the number one concern. But the most important issues to each firm varied widely, as did the chief executives relative confidence in the quality of the IT management team, in his organizations ability to keep IT aligned with business strategy, to manage projects, to gain value from investments and to ensure systems were secure.

The published report is available at the CEO Counselors website to Presidents and CEOs of corporations who complete the survey. CEO Counselors also incorporates the results in their service that provides advice to CEOs and arms chief executives with the questions they need to provide guidance and manage areas directly reporting to them.
