(Minneapolis, Minn.) — Salo, LLC; founded by John Folkestad and Amy Langer; offers cost effective solutions for companies seeking the specialized knowledge of experienced professionals in accounting and finance– all on an as-needed basis.

The unique name, Salo, (pronounced Say-Low) refers to an ancient trading center, a hub of activity where people met to network and conduct commerce. Today Salo, LLC is a network of highly talented and energetic professionals who are ready to step in and manage critical projects and cover vital positions.

According to John, “The concept is simple: Salo allows clients to access the experienced talent they need without incurring the expense of a permanent employee.” Amy goes on to say, “Salo works hand-in-hand with clients to develop the most cost effective solution to a current business challenge. Then the Salo team works with the client to implement every detail of the plan and clients benefit from tangible results.”

Presently, Salo focuses on three areas of expertise: governance, project management, and interim staffing.

·    Salo governance professionals provide clients with everything from a complete governance program to the simple reconciling of a few accounts.

·    As project managers, the Salo professionals spearhead critical projects or backfill traditional roles, freeing client staff to lead ongoing company initiatives.

·    Salo gives clients the advantage of continuity by filling interim staffing needs in a seamless manner.
