Paper Receipts Have Gone 'Green' Via Email

New development by allEtronic allows consumers to receive their receipts via email and replace tradition paper receipts.

Fullerton, California (PRWEB) February 6, 2008 -- In an effort to help reduce the devastating effects of paper production on the environment, allEtronic offers retailers a means to replace paper receipts and provide consumer receipts through allEtronic's Internet portal.

"Our proprietary free service gives consumers a single access point to retrieve, track, and store receipts from any retailer who implements our service," reports Isaac Lay, president and CEO of allEtronic. "By providing consumers with a single, central location to access their receipts, not only does allEtronic eliminate the notorious wallet, purse, or shoe box full of paper receipts, it also prevents consumers from having to visit each retailer's web site to obtain an electronic receipt."

Retailers who implement allEtronic's paperless receipt system can help reduce the production of more than 220,000 tons of receipt paper each year. A reduction in the production would prevent the destruction of more than 3.2 million trees each year, and be comparable to removing over 125,000 cars from American roads.

"Our system has been designed to communicate seamlessly with any system used by any business any where in the world," states Mr. Lay. "In a matter of weeks, any small- to large-scale retailer can integrate into our system and provide their customer's with a means to receive electronic receipts."

allEtronic provides consumers and retailers with a central "receipt" hub by which paper receipts can be emailed to consumers and stored within a secured online system accessible by consumers at anytime.
