Valentine's Day Flowers Will Expose Many Extramarital Affairs on Valentine's Day Infidelity expert Ruth Houston says Valentine's Day flowers sent or received by cheating spouses will lead to the discovery of many extramarital affairs on Valentine's Day. (PRWEB) February 12, 2008 -- Infidelity expert Ruth Houston says Valentine's Day flowers sent or received by cheating spouses will lead to the discovery of many extramarital affairs on Valentine's Day.
The National Retail Federation estimates that 36% of Valentines shoppers will buy flowers this year.
According to infidelity expert Ruth Houston, founder of www.InfidelityAdvice.com, some of these Valentine's Day flowers will be sent or received by cheating spouses and significant others. And they will lead to the exposure of many extramarital affairs.
Houston conducts a Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign each year to call attention to the link between infidelity and Valentine's Day. The campaign is now in its fifth year.
As part of the Valentine's Day Infidelity Awareness Campaign, Houston, a New York infidelity expert who is frequently called on by the media to comment on infidelity issues in the news, reveals some of the ways extramarital affairs will be exposed by the Valentine's Day flowers cheating spouses give or receive.
How Cheating Husbands Will Be Discovered
Houston, the author of Is He Cheating on You? - 829 Telltale Signs, says that Valentine's Day flowers will expose cheating husbands in several ways.
Houston says, "An incriminating florist receipt will alert many unsuspecting wives to the existence of their husband's extramarital affair. If the receipt shows that 2 dozen roses were purchased, but only one dozen were given to her, she can't help but wonder who the other dozen were delivered to. If it wasn't a female family member, then her husband will have some explaining to do."
"Countless extramarital affairs will be exposed due to mix-ups with the love notes that accompany the Valentine's Day flowers," says Houston. "If Mary receives a note with her flowers that says 'To Michelle, with all my love,' the cheating husband's cover will be blown."
How Cheating Wives Will Be Discovered
"Valentine's Day flowers can also expose a cheating wife," says Houston. "If her lover sends Valentine's Day flowers to her home or her job, and her husband finds out, then he'll know he's not her only Valentine."
Never Confront the Cheater Without Additional Proof
Houston cautions spouses not to confront a suspected cheater solely on the basis one or two telltale signs like the ones mentioned above. She says, "To build an airtight case against the cheater, you need additional proof. Signs of infidelity never appear in isolation. Cheaters ALWAYS display multiple telltale signs. If your spouse is really cheating, no matter how carefully they try to cover their tracks, there will still be dozens of corroborating signs just waiting to be found. Knowing what to look for is the key."
