XL World Plans 1 Million Euro Investment in Human Resources in 2008

XL World, a British company specializing in outsourcing and call center services and one of the most important companies in that field in Romania, announced the results of last year's recruitment campaign in cities where the company has opened service centers: Ia_i, Oradea, and Bacu.

Bucharest (PRWEB) February 13, 2008 -- XL World, a British company specializing in outsourcing and call center services and one of the most important companies in that field in Romania, announced the results of last year's recruitment campaign in cities where the company has opened service centers: Ia_i, Oradea, and Bacu.

"The national recruitment campaign we carried out during the last year had very good results. In 2007, we received over 4000 CVs, and more than 400 young people joined our team", states Roberto Montandon, Business Development Director at XL World.

"In 2008, we plan to invest approximately 1,000,000 Euro in human resources and more than half of that amount -- approximately 600,000 Euro -- will be in training courses. A dedicated human resources training policy is a basic component of our development strategy", added the Business Development Director of XL World.

The 2007 recruitment campaign utilized a mix of communication tools: ATL (radio advertising, banners, flyers, outdoor), online advertising, sponsorships to events organized by students at three university centers, and ongoing collaboration with external recruitment agencies.

HUMAN RESOURCES WITHIN XL WORLD

In addition to an excellent professional education, the profile of the ideal XL World candidate includes solid knowledge of PC operating programs, excellent knowledge of at least one foreign language, and sound interpersonal skills, such as flexibility, proactivity, and teamwork ability.

So far, the company has implemented several professional training programs for its employees. These training courses focus on general foreign language courses, as well as industry specific topics, such as telemarketing, teleselling, customer service, project management, and coaching. The foreign language training segments are free to all XL World employees, regardless of their position. At the end of the Italian and English courses, and also the communications course, trainees receive a graduation diploma that is certified by the Romanian Ministry of Labour, Family and Equal Opportunities.
