This April, the beautiful town of Salzburg will welcome European poker players of all skills and bankrolls as the PokerNews Cup kicks off at the Concord Card Casino. The €650 Main Event will begin on April 23 and is set to conclude on April 27. Numbers are expected at over 300 for the Main Event with the two side events set to draw even more to the felt.

Each €1,500 PokerNews Cup Austria Freeroll winner will receive buy-in to the Main Event plus €850 cash for travel and accommodation. In addition, winners also receive membership to Team PokerNews which grants them access to exclusive merchandise and access to the Team PokerNews Welcome Party.

Qualifying is simple - download PokerStars through the links on PokerNews, register a new account and make a deposit. Following that, players must ensure they earn 100 VPPs in the specified dates prior to every freeroll. If eligible, they will be issued a ticket after the qualification window has ended, which can then be used to register into the freeroll.
