His experience includes CFO roles in several high technology starts-ups including CoSine Communications, Silicon Valley Networks, and Neuron Data. At CoSine Communications, he raised $165 million in venture capital and participated in the companys successful IPO in 2000.

Prior to his appointment, Curtis was a partner in the Financial Service Division of David Powell, Inc. where he advised early stage, high-tech start-up business on financial and operational matters and became acting CFO of several clients. From 1987 to 1995, Curtis helped engineer four turn-arounds" in mid market, general industry businesses where he was either CFO, COO or CEO. Curtis was with for Memorex Corporation from 1976 to 1987 where he held various financial management positions. From 1985 to 1987 Curtis was director of finance for the Media Products Group that included seven operating divisions and four factories worldwide. Prior to Memorex, Curtis was with Arthur Young & Company. Curtis is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MBA and BS in Accounting from the University of Utah.
