Pop Your Panties With Paris, Nicole and Lindsey Music Parody Opens NY Film Fest

Music parody 'Pop Your Panties with Paris, Nicole and Lindsey' debuts at the New York Film Festival this week. 'Pop Your Panties' is produced by Itsi Atkins and Lisa Nusbaum from Parody 4 Charity Productions, who have dedicated themselves to generate public awareness for Media 4 Humanity.

New York, NY (Billboard Publicity Wire) February 26, 2008 -- Pop Your Panties with Paris, Nicole and Lindsay (http://www.popyourpanties.com) is the first music video parody of a series produced by Hollywood producer and fashion designer Itsi Atkins (http://posters.imdb.com/name/nm0040585/) and Lisa Nusbaum from Parody 4 Charity Productions, who have dedicated themselves to generate public awareness for Media 4 Humanity (http://www.media4humanity.org), a New York based organization working to eradicate child slavery in America. The music video features the voice of C+C Music Factory member Zelma Davis (http://www.zelmadavis.com) as the voice of Paris, along with three others; Susanna Depperman as Lindsay, Cricket as Nicole and Luke Ryan as the singing chauffeur. Public relations efforts for the video has already gained attention for the sold out viewing at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (http://www.nyfilmvideo.com) on February 29th, with tickets still available. 'Pop Your Panties' is also scheduled to be part of the festival's Los Angeles appearance in July.

As the media continues to devote a vast amount of attention to tabloid stories and celebrity scandals, it made sense to diverge some of the attention and direct it to a good cause, which is the exact intention of Parody 4 Charity Productions for the 'Pop Your Panties' four-minute music video. In the video, Itsi reverts to tabloid proven and tested salaciousness and makes it into a parody of the scandalous divas Paris, Nicole and Lindsay. While singing 'Plastic Paris', the three tabloid queens find their own way of using their names to help 'the needy and the poor', by auctioning off their underwear.

Parody 4 Charity Productions aims to draw some of the overabundant attention from the tabloid media and focus it on something that is widely overlooked and happening right under our noses; child trafficking and exploitation in the United States. The disturbing facts are that New York, California, Texas, Nevada, Florida, and Arizona have the highest rates of human trafficking in the nation. "Slavery in America exists largely because it is hidden," says M4H Founder Melanie Siben. "This issue needs attention. If Mr. Atkins can draw that attention with his salacious Pop Your Panties campaign, then God bless him!"

Parody 4 Charity has launched the 'Pop Your Panties' campaign with MusiK1 (http://www.musik1.net) who's coordinating PR efforts and worldwide digital distribution. "It's been a pleasure to work with Itsi in his mission and on behalf of each MusiK1 project manager, we're exited to support this cause with the resources we have", states Josh East, Senior Project Manager for MusiK1.

'Pop Your Panties with Paris, Nicole and Lindsey' can be seen on PopYourPanties.com (http://www.dentalrecords.com/eyes_only/P4Cproductions/page4/page4.html), as well as purchased through iTunes.
