HunterStone today releases at its on-line store version 2.0 of its Web.Config editor for ASP.NET application developers.

Web Configuration Editor 2.0 expands the capabilities of previous versions with the following set of new features:

•    Color coded XML view to improve readability.

•    Support for 7 new configuration sections added into the basic mode tree.

•    New find utility for searching XML code.

•    Automatic validation.

•    Live sessionState SQL connection available for testing in web configuration.

•    Back-up creations are user configurable.

•    Automatic encryption of Passwords in credentials section.

HunterStone Web.Config Editor supports two modes: Simple Mode, used for editing a single web.config file, and Composite Mode, used for editing all web.config files that apply to an ASP.NET application. WCE is a tool to make the management of ASP.NETs web configuration files quicker and easier.
