Le Cordon Bleu Provence Herb Mustard Wins Gold at the Napa Valley Festival's World Wide Mustard Competition

Le Cordon Bleu Provence Herb mustard was awarded a Gold Medal in the Herb category at the 2008 World Wide Mustard Competition at the Napa Valley Mustard Festival. 400 mustards from seven countries competed in 19 categories for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and ultimately the Grand Champion award. Entrants were judged by chefs and food journalists.

The World Wide Mustard Competition, coordinated by Barry Levenson, Curator of the Mt Horeb Mustard Museum® in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, is one of many events and activities of the 15th Napa Valley Mustard Festival held February 2 through March 29, 2008. This annual event celebrates the bounty of wild mustard grown in the Napa Valley region of California with food, wine, art, entertainment and cultural events. Its proceeds support local businesses and non-profit organizations and the festival attracts national and international sponsors. The awards ceremony will take place March 14, 2008 in Napa, California.

Le Cordon Bleu mustards have previously won the praise of judges at the World Wide Mustard Competition. In 2003 Le Cordon Bleu Extra-Strong Dijon mustard won the Gold Medal in the Dijon category and Le Cordon Bleu Provence Herb mustard took the Bronze Medal in the Herb category.
