StepChange and Stimulant Show Off touchscreen Microsoft Silverlight Mobile Application in MIX '08 Keynote

Used in the latest handsets, Silverlight offers a perfect platform for location-aware social networking applications.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 6, 2008 -- StepChange, a member of the Silverlight Partner Initiative, has teamed with interaction design experts Stimulant to create the industry's first look at a mobile social networking application powered by Silverlight.

Since its debut last year, Silverlight has been rapidly gaining momentum among developers of Rich Internet Applications - especially those demanding high-performance media playback. This extension into mobile development demonstrates the potential of Silverlight beyond the desktop, and into highly interactive mobile applications

In designing the application, Stimulant used the Silverlight platform to create a uniquely interactive user experience. The team is showing off the Mobile Application, codenamed "MIXr", at the MIX '08 event in Las Vegas.
