MTC-Vodafone, Kuwait Selects ACLs Wireless Instant Messenger

Expects to generate 36 million messages in the first year

New Delhi (PRWEB) August, 2003 -- MTC-Vodafone, Kuwaits No. 1 cellular service provider with a base of 1 million mobile customers, today announced that it has selected ACLs Wireless Instant Messenger as a value added service for its cellular network. The service is scheduled for launch in August.

Our customers already are text-messaging savvy; we are currently clocking 80 million SMS messages per month. And ACLs messenger over SMS & PC will further boost usage and network stickiness. ACL Wireless Instant Messenger (WIM), latest version 3.0, enables mobile users to chat in real time with friends on PCs or mobile phones, anywhere in the world. Users can exchange instant text, photos & group messages. Users can also search for new friends and view their pictures, group chat and chat with their Yahoo, MSN & ICQ buddies.
