Spark Brings Home Best in Show at Greater Lehigh Valley ADDY Awards

Spark ( http://www.sparkcreatives.com ) and the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley ( http://www.unitedwayglv.org ) received a Best in Show ADDY for the public service poster campaign entitled "Change that Now" at the 2008 Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club Awards, Feb. 29, 2008. The campaign, designed to support for the United Way's annual drive, used a series of posters that focused on homelessness, education, and senior citizens in the Lehigh Valley.

The campaign, designed to support for the United Way's annual drive, used a series of posters that focused on homelessness, education, and senior citizens in the Lehigh Valley.

Spark also took home a Gold ADDY in the newspaper self-promotion category for an entry entitled "The Morning Call Wrap." To launch The Morning Call's new "Use it for Life" branding campaign, Spark replaced the entire front page of all Sunday newspapers with an ad that mimicked the look and feel of the paper.

Spark also won three silver and two bronze ADDYs for clients including Lehigh Carbon Community College and Level 3 lounge.

The ADDY® Awards Competition is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. It is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.

A total of 176 entries were submitted for this year's Lehigh Valley event. They were judged by a team of three experts in the field of creativity from outside the region. Awards were presented in a variety of categories including interactive media, television, newspaper, public service, consumer magazine and sales promotion.
