Mac McMillan brings IT Security expertise to new board of directors

Austin, Texas (PRWEB) March 10, 2008 -- Premier Election Solutions recently named Mac McMillan, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of information security consulting firm CynergisTek, to it's new board of directors. Premier formed the new board as a part of its current corporate governance overhaul which is designed to increase its independence from parent company Diebold. Mr. McMillan is one of two new outside directors named to the board and will advise the company on all aspects of computer systems security.

Premier named a total of five members to its new board including Mr. McMillan, Sharon Priest, former Arkansas Secretary of State, David Byrd, president of Premier, Sheila Rutt, vice president and chief human resources officer for Diebold and Chad Hesse, corporate counsel and assistant secretary for Diebold.
