A hilarious concert film based on the format of the hugely successful The Original Kings Of Comedy" and The Queens of Comedy," THE ORIGINAL LATIN KINGS OF COMEDY brings together the best and most prominent Latin comedians in America for a rip-roaring concert performance that premieres on Showtime in September and will hit the streets on DVD and VHS on October 7th through Paramount Home Entertainment. Featuring the stand-up comedy of Paul Rodriguez (Ali, Blood Work), George Lopez (TVs The George Lopez Show") and rising stars Joey Medina and Alex Reymundo, and hosted by Cheech Marin (Spy Kids), THE ORIGINAL LATIN KINGS OF COMEDY was shot on tour in El Paso, TX at The Abraham Chavez Theatre as part of their highly successful Yo Quiero Comedy Jam" comedy tour.

Producer Scott Montoya explains, We chose El Paso because historically it has always been considered the gateway to the Americas or Chuco. Also, El Paso has always been a big town for Latin comedy and we wanted to give back to the city by highlighting El Pasos rich heritage in this film. With the Latin explosion in entertainment and Latinos being the #1 minority population, there is no better time for this film."

On stage, the five gentlemen tackle such topics as the love of Mexico, the difference between men and women, the French, Hispanic nannies and the possibility of going to jail. Each comedian brings his own wit and Hispanic background to the stage, leaving the audience roaring with laughter.
