USC to Implement DyKnow Software

The University of Southern California's Distance Education Network glimpses the future of education by implementing the DyKnow collaborative learning system.

Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) August, 2003 -- Dynamic Knowledge Transfer, LLC announces the implementation of their flagship software, DyKnow 2.3, at the University of Southern Californias Distance Education Network.

DyKnow is able to provide the extra features of interactivity and personalization of notes that was absent before in our system," said Binh Tran, Director of IT for the Distance Education Network (DEN).

DyKnow puts the power of technology into the hands of both teachers and students by connecting a teachers electronic whiteboard or PC to student computers. This electronic note delivery system enables real-time communication between teachers and students through pen-enabled systems--both in a traditional classroom setting and in distance learning environments.

Tran and his team are excited about the educational possibilities DyKnow brings. DyKnow will allow DENs engineering courses to have much more interactivity in the class with the instructor and allow students to have a truly unique class experience."

A pioneer in distance learning, USC continues to set the pace in technology for higher education. USC hopes to fully integrate the flexible DyKnow software into DENs own course portal systems. The DEN will use DyKnow 2.3 in select classes this fall, but Tran anticipates both classroom and distance learners in several courses to be benefiting from the DyKnow system in the coming semesters.
