Police say they responded to fewer calls of dead bodies found, break-ins or other felonies during the blackout than on an average NYPD day (according to WNBC/NY News). The people of New York should be proud. They pulled together in a surprising and difficult time to get through what could have been a chaotic and devastating disaster.
