Doing a Good Deed Catapults StayPut® Products into Multiple Markets.

StayPut Products adapted their luxury automotive drinkholder for use by a 15 year old boy suffering with Multiple Sclerosis. Because of a revolutionary vacume base, he was able to drink independently for the first time in his life. Because of this good deed, StayPut® found itself expanding from luxury cars into the healthcare industry, where their dinnerware and drinkholders won the 2002 Best New Product of The Year Award.

(PRWEB) August, 2003 -- StayPut Products is expanding into multiple markets as a result of aiding a 15 year old boy named Brian who suffers with Multiple Sclerosis. Brians Mom had seen the cup holders that were widely sold by Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo and other luxury automobile dealerships and thought that they might just be perfect for her son.

Mom had spent 15 years holding Brians drinking glass every time Brian wanted to drink. She contacted StayPut Products, manufacturer of the StayPut® Product Line and asked if they could adapt the automotive drinkholder for her son who has limited motor skills. Taking the challenge, StayPut produced a truly revolutionary solution named the StayPut® Anchoring Base".

This unique anchoring system holds the adjustable drinkholder or StayPut® Bowl to any hard, flat surface, but can be moved to a different position or location just as easily as it is placed. No more holding the drink -- no more spills -- no more mess! Even more important, Brian gained a brand new level of independence, drinking on his own, at his own pace. Because of this good deed, StayPut® found itself expanding from luxury cars into the healthcare industry. Little did they know that there were many more markets to follow.

Best New Product Award

StayPut® products introduced its unique new StayPut® Dinnerware and Drinkholder product line to the healthcare industry in 2002. They promptly won the Best New Product of the Year Award from the Medtrade Conference. The healthcare industry embraced the product line for use in the disabled and senior markets, finding the dinnerware and drinkholders were perfect for patients with impaired motor skills.

From Luxury Cars to Healthcare, Boats, RVs, Children, Pets, and Computers

After repeated interest from other industries, StayPut® Products has announced that they are expanding into the Boating Industry, the Childrens Market, the Pet Supply Industry, Golf Accessories, Computer Accessories, and the RV market. Gary Smith, Managing Partner, explained that the company would respond to where customers most need the product.

We learned that when we demonstrated our dinnerware, people would tell us that they needed our products for some other application, for example: their two year old who likes to toss his dish off his highchair. Others would want our drinkholders and plates for their boat or RV. We were repeatedly told that our bowl would be perfect for their dog that pushes his dish around the kitchen floor. One man is happily using our drinkholder in a Navy submarine.

Others rely on our desktop drinkholders to keep from spilling coffee on their computer keyboard. Clients have reported to us that they have used our attachable drinkholders on riding lawn mowers, ladders, hunting blinds and baby strollers or joggers. The reward for one good deed, has exceeded our wildest expectations"

The StayPut® Anchoring Base works on two levels, thousands of micro-cells in the soft pad grab onto virtually any hard, smooth, dry surface -- the smoother the surface, the more it grabs. In addition to the micro-cells, the patented nine chamber air pocket system works on a vacuum principle instead of a suction principle. The StayPut® system is so unique that it has been granted patents throughout the industrial world.

StayPut Products is sold through healthcare catalogues, retail outlets, on-line at www.stayputproducts.com, and will soon be seen in infomercials and on QVC.

The company is located in Laguna Beach, California. They can be reached through their website or at 877-367-2923.
