YapStone Announces New Senior Vice President of Business Development

San Francisco (PRWEB) March 21, 2008 -- Tony Wootton, former Vice President and General Manager of Payment Solutions at The Green Dot Corporation, was brought on as Senior Vice President of Business Development at YapStone, Inc. As a proven career business development professional, Wootton has been added to the YapStone management team to drive their dynamic and robust payment processing platforms into new markets.

Wootton comes to YapStone from The Green Dot Corporation, the leading provider of financial services to the underserved and largest issuer of reloadable prepaid debit cards, where he led business development efforts as the Vice President and General Manager of Payment Solutions in charge of white label debit card and bill payment programs. Prior to Green Dot, Wootton served as Senior Director of Business Development for InfoSpace Mobile, a premier provider of downloadable mobile media, following the purchase of Moviso where he was also a member of the acquired management team. In this role he drove all alternative distribution channels for mobile content with top carriers, handset manufacturers, major retailers, and consumer brands.

Wootton has also held management level positions with NASCAR, FOX Sports, and The Upper Deck Company, focusing on business development and sales.

He is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management
