Author Alan R. Bechtold Launches "The Great Email Experiment" to Rescue Email from Extinction

Author and online publisher Alan R. Bechtold claims email deliverability issues have become intolerable. Because email is such an integral part of easily achieving financial freedom today, he's launching an experiment to determine which email providers are best - and which are the worst.

Bonita Springs, FL (PRWEB) March 20, 2008 -- Alan R. Bechtold, author of "Will Work for Fun" (due for release from John Wiley & Sons May 26, 2008) is launching the Great Email Experiment on Monday, March 24, 2008. Bechtold, also an Internet marketing and publishing veteran with more than 24 years of experience, says his experiment is designed to specifically identify which email service providers reliably deliver wanted emails while still effectively eliminating spam.

"Most email service providers today are simply tossing emails based on criteria that they've decided indicate whether an email might be spam or not," Bechtold said. "Most don't check to see if an email they're tossing is from someone the recipient has marked as an accepted sender they want to hear from. They simply pitch it if it looks like spam to them."

Bechtold says such actions by email service providers are widespread today and they threaten to destroy the reliability of email altogether if they're allowed to continue.

"All emails from accepted senders should get through, regardless of what their emails look like to the service provider," Bechtold said. "If a service provider isn't willing to deliver all email to their clients that their clients want to receive, consumers need know, so they can move to a provider that does. My Experiment will show people which providers they should use and which should be avoided."

Interested parties can participate in the Great Email Experiment by visiting SaveOurEmailNow.com (http://www.SaveOurEmailNow.com) before March 24. Participants will simply watch their "in" boxes for a series of emails, and they'll be offered a selection of valuable free gifts while they do. There is no cost to participate.

The results, gathered during Bechtold's experiment, will also be available at SaveOurEmailNow.com (http://www.SaveOurEmailNow.com) no later than April 10. Bechtold also just launched EmailHorrorStories.com (http://www.emailhorrorstories.com), a blog where anyone can share their experiences related to email deliverability, whether they participate in the Experiment or not.
