Earth Computer Technologies Trailblazes Industry’s First Bare Bones Open Frame PC with 12.1” LCD

Earth’s BBPC-12 is built around the popular mini-ITX form factor, advantageous because it allows integrators the freedom to choose their own mini-ITX motherboard and components, thereby reducing costs and increasing flexibility.

BBPC-12 touts a unique open frame design for easy drop in or rear-mount applications. Housed in an aluminum chassis with a 200 watt power supply and an industrial 12.1” NEC LCD, this LCD package opens up a whole new set of options for integrators. The BBPC-12 also includes an auto-off backlight, high contrast ratio, XGA resolution, auto scaling, optional touch screen and an optional anti-reflective coating for sunlight readability. BBPC-12 is ideal for just about any embedded application, including kiosk, hospitality, POS and POI.
