Exposures Student Film Festival

The UK's leading student film festival celebrates its tenth year from 2-4th December, at Cornerhouse in Manchester, with a bigger line-up than ever and two new competition categories.

As well as the usual competition screenings of drama, documentary, animation and 'experimental' films, there will be two new categories - webshorts (for 3min films for the internet) and underexposed (for under-18 filmmakers), plus a directors forum (featuring four leading UK directors), screenwriting and cinematgraphy masterclasses, a special screening of the British Film Council's Short Circuit digital films, a Classic Student Film screening (featuring the student films of some of the world's greatest directors), media training guidance, audience and jury prizes and much more.

The festival is open to submissions from any student of any discipline based in the North West. The deadline is Tue 7 October; for submission details go to www.cornerhouse.org and then click on 'downloads'. For more information call Ra Page, 0161 200 1521 (Ra.Page@cornerhouse.org)
