3G mHealth solution transfers more patient care information faster

Physio-Control leverages cellular technology to bridge field and hospital care teams to improve a patient’s time to treatment. The LIFEPAK® series of portable monitors/defibrillators, developed by Physio-Control, allows emergency responders to gather and send critical patient care information over the cellular network to the web-based LIFENET® data management platform. The Multi-Tech Cellular Development Platform, an all-in-one hardware and OpenEmbedded Linux environment, provides Physio-Control the flexibility to overlay its own quality control system, the ability to manage its software development internally and ensure a future–proof design.
