He is a regular at industry conferences, serving recently, for example, as panels chair of the OOPSLA (object-oriented programming, systems, languages and applications) conference. He also belongs to the New England chapter of Agile Bazaar.

Prior to joining Cyrus, Mr. Berczuk was a senior software developer at Fast Search and Transfer. He holds a master's in operations research from Stanford University and a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a certified Scrum master trained in Agile process management.
