Care2Learn participates in AHCA/CAHF 54th Annual Conference San Diego in October
Bradenton, Florida (PRWEB) October 1 2003-- Care2Learn is pleased to join its partners, clients, students and colleagues at the American Healthcare Association combined annual meeting with the California Association of Healthcare Facilities. This meeting is the largest gathering of healthcare professionals in the long term care industry. Care2Learn, a national provider of online continuing education and training looks forward to the meeting and the educational sessions that are offered.
This is a wonderful networking opportunity for our company to listen to our students. Our clients must look at the ever decreasing dollars available for the care of the elders of our country. We are completely devoted to our commitment to help the staff and employees that must work to keep their licenses, their education requirements and training programs in pace with the demands of the job." says Laura More, CEO and partner at Care2Learn.
As a result of these ever changing times for the industry, Care2Learn continues to grow its client and student base of 23,000 registered users for the 1400 coursework hours offered. 16 different healthcare disciplines are now served online at the website and proprietary universities developed by Care2learn. The company is also developing a new product line for the smaller nursing home owner who wants to offer the same access for 10 to 2500 employees. This should be launched by mid-October.
We have expanded our course offerings and our training packages to help meet the needs of the states expectations and the Federal demands in educating and training the staff working within long term care across many venues. We delivered approximately 20,000 training hours last year alone online allowing for companies to give immediately the courses and education to anyone who can access the internet", says Vikki Dibble, VP, Business Development at Care2Learn.
E-Learning is a tremendous resource for health care professionals", said Laura More. The flexibility of the Internet gives the busy caretaker an easy, convenient and cost-effective way to stay current and maintain licensure. Being able to control where, when, and how long the training/learning takes place is invaluable. Very soon we will offer this access to all long term care providers regardless of size."
