The Long Beach Jaycees host their 7th Annual

“THE BACHELOR PACK”

Bachelor Bid and Silent Auction

On Saturday, October 18, 2003 the Long Beach Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) will host their 6th Annual Bachelor Bid and Silent Auction. This event will be held at The Golden Sails Resort Hotel located at 6285 E. Pacific Coast Highway; Long Beach. The event will begin at Noon with a reception, hors d’ oeuvres, and a silent auction. The live auction of bachelors and their date packages will follow and conclude at around 4:00pm. We welcome women over the age of 21 to this event. Proceeds from this event go to support the Family Aids Network, which provides support to children and their families who are affected by AIDS and/or HIV.

The brave bachelors include local Police Officers, Firefighters, and other Long Beach professionals between the ages of 25-40. Each bachelor comes with a date package that includes dinner and an activity. Immediately following the auction, women with winning bids are able to enjoy their dinners out with their eligible bachelors.

Advance tickets are available for $12 by calling Mike Swenson at 562-209-6067. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

The Long Beach Junior Chamber of Commerce is a leadership development and networking organization dedicated to community service. This project is just one of many events that is organized by the volunteer members of the Long Beach Jaycees.
