For each Heifetz Signature Crystal purchased, The Violin Case will donate $5 toward a challenge grant sponsored by Strings Magazine, who will match the donation dollar for dollar up to $6,500. The funds will benefit the National String Project Consortium, established by the American String Teachers Association (ASTA), designed to educate a new generation of much-needed string teachers through on-the-job training under skilled master teachers, as well as provide high-quality string instruction and performance opportunities to thousands of children who would otherwise simply go without.
