Local Consultant Will Demonstrate A Way to Scan Business Cards into ACT!

Boca Raton, FL...The ACT! Users Group of South Florida will hold its next meeting on Monday, November 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Road, Delray Beach. Admission is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The meeting is sponsored by local ACT! consultant Karen Fredricks of Tech Benders, LLC. At this meeting, Karen Fredricks will discuss the Card Scanner by Corex which allows ACT! users to scan business cards directly into the ACT! program. In addition, Fredricks will be discussing the various ways to import data from other database sources into ACT!.

According to Fredricks, "I seem to notice a mountain of business cards sitting on someones desk in every office I visit. These cards are gathering dust and not being put to good use. With the Corex Card Scanner, it takes approximately an hour to scan 100 business cards and get them into your ACT! database.
