Cheyney University of Pennsylvania Alumni Officer

Cheyney University of Pennsylvania seeks applicants for a Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations. The Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations is responsible for the development and coordination of alumni and constituent programs to increase university visibility and fund-raising goals.

The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to identifying and managing strategic outreach to alumni, coordinating and supporting university activities and alumni reunion events, and other fundraising activity, developing and managing a comprehensive alumni communications program, coordinating and recruiting volunteers, creating a pre-alumni association, maintaining the constituent database. This position will serve as the university liaison to the alumni association to promote alumni involvement with the university and to increase reunion participation and class giving.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and possess a baccalaureate degree and a minimum of three (3) years university alumni experience, outstanding written and oral communication skills, superior interpersonal skills, and be willing to travel and work weekends and evenings. Special events experience is highly desirable.
