DTi Unveils RomMaker - Client Interface for Mac OS and Rimage DVD and CD Publishing Systems

New software enables the use of Rimage disc production equipment from networked Macintosh® platform computers

Arlington, VA (PRWEB) April 21, 2008 -- Discrete Technologies, Inc. (DTi) announces the release of RomMaker, a simplified drag and drop client interface for Mac OS® X operating systems and Rimage automated disc publishing equipment.

RomMaker utilizes DTi's Connector technology to allow cross-platform communication of DTI applications and Rimage software, enabling simple client setup and eliminating the time-consuming tasks of assigning user access rights and shared folders when networking a Rimage publishing system. RomMaker is the first client interface commercially available for Mac-based users of Rimage systems, with more platforms to be added within the year.

RomMaker supports OS X for Intel and PowerPC Macintosh computers, as well as Rimage Producer II, III, DL and all N systems running Rimage software versions 7.0 and above. Pricing begins at $295.00 for 5 seats, with additional pricing available for larger user groups.
