Pennline Internet Offers Consumers An Affordable, Streamlined Internet Service - TrueSwitch partnership eases subscribers move to Pennline

Pennline Internet (www.pennline.net) announces a new alternative for fast, efficient, reliable dial-up Internet service for less than half the cost of other major providers. Partnership with TrueSwitch means new Pennline customers receive unprecedented support in transferring their old email, address books and favorites to Pennline while assisting them with cancelling their old ISP account.

Pennline Internet (www.pennline.net) announces a new alternative for fast, efficient, reliable dial-up Internet service for less than half the charges of other major providers.

"For consumers who are routinely charged upwards of $260 a year for dial-up, our offering clearly slashes those fees by nearly half," stated Patrick Thomson, president.

Partnership with TrueSwitch means new Pennline customers receive unprecedented support in transferring their old email, address books and favorites to Pennline while assisting them with cancelling their old ISP account.

"By offering TrueSwitch, we are helping consumers who have reservations about losing emails and favorites overcome their fear of switching," continued Thomson. "Our goal is to make the transition seamless."

Pennsylvania based Internet Service Provider Pennline Internet is a new company whose goals are to provide its customers with Internet access that is inexpensive and accessible through local access numbers that are reliable and have fast connections, and to enable customers to browse the World Wide Web through unmetered access that is unrestricted or bothered by annoying advertisements.

"Over the years, we've watched other services evolve," said Thomson. "Pennline has noted what people enjoy and what they find unreasonable intrusions on their Internet experiences, and we have streamlined our offering to meet those preferences."

Pennline Internet is kicking off its marketing drive this week, offering dial-up connections all across the United States that will transmit data at speeds of up to 56,000 bytes per second. Local telephone service infrastructure will dictate actual connection speeds, but Pennline Internet offers access speeds that are equal to or surpass the dial-up speeds offered by America Online, MSN, Earthlink, AT&T, Yahoo, Verizon and other providers.

"We expect to be popular with seniors and people who want affordable, reliable, easy-to-use internet service," added Thomson. "Most users connecting with the traditional ISPs never use the vast amounts of content and other services they are paying for. By eliminating all the flashy window dressing and unused content and providing clean, uncluttered Internet access, we have been able to provide reliable Internet service at a very affordable cost."

Pennline is designed to meet the needs of Internet users who find flashing banner ads on their browser page intrusive, who are annoyed with pop-up ads, and who are tired of their Internet Service Providers selling their information to marketers who then flood mailboxes with advertisements and SPAM mail - all among the increasing high cost to subscribe to these popular Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

"We are confident that our service will be attractive to a majority of Internet users, and that we will develop a solid and loyal customer base within one year," said Thomson.

Most dial-up services are priced in the $15 to $24 range, with market leader AOL at the top. Other plans allow a lesser monthly access fee, but have restrictions on access time and limited customer service support. To get discount prices, users must prepay as much as a year in advance and may be required to use their other services to qualify for the reduced rates.

Pennline Internet has partnered with the largest providers of telephone dial-up network services in America to offer fast connecting dial-up service throughout the United States. Nationwide Internet access through Pennline Internet is available for $9.95 per month.

Connected to the largest Internet backbones in America, the company has the capacity to provide more than 21,000 local dial-up access numbers for easy Internet access almost anywhere enabling customers to find a local access number in their area.

Pennline Internet's network provides dependable "always on" connections and ensures redundant back-up service when needed.

Unlike other Internet service providers, Pennline Internet does not sell or make its customers' information available to anyone. By accessing the Internet through Pennline Internet, customers are not locked-in to a long-term service contract, are not bothered by advertisements, banners, or pop-ups on their browser page and there are no use restrictions.
