November 4, 2003 - Railroadmap.com has released North American Railroad Map, the successor to their popular software, U.S. Railroad Map. Now including Canada and Mexico, North American Railroad Map also has many new features added to the program, as well as freshly obtained data.

North American Railroad Map has these exciting new features:

• Updated with new data from the U.S. DOT and FRA. For U.S. railroads this includes current operator, traffic, signalling, trackage rights, previous operators and passenger use.
• Shows trackage and train operators for Canada and Mexico.
• Now, over 1,100 current and past railroads listed!
• Locate over 11,000 stations by name, junction code, Zip Code or SPLC code.
• Aerial Photos and Topographic maps Online - North American Railroad Map software links to the Microsoft Terraserver or TopoZone.com via your web browser and displays an aerial photograph or topo map of the area currently being viewed.
• Detail Map - Optional inset map shows greater detail in the U.S.A. based on USGS 1:100,000 maps.
