Paxfire Files Counter Claims Against Milberg Client: Seeks In Excess of Fifty Million Dollars In Damages

Alan Sullivan, CEO and co-founder of Sterling VA-based Paxfire, Inc., announced today that Paxfire filed a counter lawsuit in federal court in Manhattan against Betsy Feist, the client of the law firm Milberg LLP who had earlier filed a class action against Paxfire and the RCN Corporation, an Internet Service Provider (Feist v. RCN Corporation and Paxfire, Inc., Case No. 1:11cv05436, a civil case filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, in Manhattan).

"Paxfire filed a counter lawsuit in federal court in Manhattan against Betsy Feist, the client of the law firm Milberg LLP who had earlier filed a class action against Paxfire and the RCN Corporation, an Internet Service Provider (Feist v. The Counterclaims cite specific damages suffered by Paxfire as a result of these assertions, and seek compensation in excess of fifty million dollars."
