Siemon Sponsors Female Students for Cabling Lab" Installation Due to the generous contribution of The Siemon Company, young ladies from the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center, Lubbock, TX, will have the opportunity to participate in the ACTE's "Cabling Lab" at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center next month. C-Tech is proud to announce that its newest Program Recognizer, The Siemon Company, a global leader in the design and manufacture of network cabling systems and components, is once again showing their support for the career training technology programs being taught in todays schools. Siemon is sponsoring two female students from the Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center, Lubbock, TX, as they travel to Orlandos Orange County Convention Center to participate in the Association for Career and Technical Educations (ACTE) Cabling Lab at this years Tech Expo.
The Cabling Lab sponsored by C-Tech and co-sponsored by the companys Program Recognizers, will feature students demonstrating the skills learned in C-Techs programs to wire the lab for communications networks with both Copper and Fiber Optic cabling. The lab will represent both commercial and residential installations. The commercial side will consist of two Category 5e and two Fiber drops to each workstation. The residential side, featuring Siemon Residential cabling products, will consist of two Category 5e, two Coaxial and two Fiber drops to each room."
Siemon has teamed with C-Tech as a Program Recognizer and is an avid supporter of the technology training that C-Tech is providing to secondary/post-secondary educational institutions, private training schools, US Job Corps Centers and other training facilities across the country.
