
National Scrip Center Funds Scholarships - 43 Students will receive Share The Dream Awards Share The Dream Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building scholarship opportunities, announced that it will award 43 scholarships for the 2003-2004 academic year. The awards will be made to elementary, high school and college students as well as for continuing education of nonprofit management. SANTA ROSA, CA (PRWEB) November 7, 2003 Share The Dream Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building scholarship opportunities, announced that it will award 43 scholarships for the 2003-2004 academic year. The awards will be made to elementary, high school and college students as well as for continuing education of nonprofit management. These scholarship awards will pay educational expenses at accredited private and public educational and vocational training institutions and are available to nonprofit organizations that have been active clients of National Scrip Center (NSC) for at least three years. The scholarships will be divided as follows: Elementary - 30 Scholarships $500 each High School - 11 Scholarships $2,500 each College - 1 Scholarship $4,500 Nonprofit Management (University of Saint Thomas) 1 Scholarship $3,000 Scholarship awards have been paid directly to those educational institutions in which each successful candidate is enrolled. Applications were accepted in June and the selection process has been completed. Scholarship availability for the 2004-05 academic year will be announced in January 2004.
