Discovery Bay, CA, November 7, 2003 -- Fighter jets on EBAY! The Patriots Jet Team is for bid on EBAY, for the Nellis AFB Air Show in Las Vegas, November 15 and 16, 2003.

You have the ultimate promotional vehicles, and just 1 week to line up more sponsors? EBAY! We decided to use the time-crunch as a lost leader;" a way to invest into next year, and give potential sponsors the opportunity to sample the air show venue and The Patriot Jet Demonstration Team.

(PRWEB) Nobember 10 2003==The Patriots Jet Team is a full fledge pair of 500 MPH jet fighters. Although theyre not used anymore for combat, these jets have a mission; Air Show missions that is. The Air Force has the Thunder Birds, Navy the Blue Angels; Frys Electronics and our other sponsors have The Patriots Jet Team. Jets always get everyones attention," says Rex Lawrence for Airshows America.

So what does one do when you have the ultimate promotional vehicles, and just 1 week to line up more sponsors? EBAY! We know from experience that 1 week is not enough time to traditionally attract and sign-on more sponsors. We decided to use the time-crunch as a lost leader;" a way to invest into next year, and give potential sponsors the opportunity to sample the air show venue and The Patriot Jet Demonstration Team. EBAY seemed like an efficient way to get the job done. We believe that local companies, national brands, or perhaps a dot-com might be interested in this particular weekends opportunity," says Rex.

Nellis AFB Air show is one of the 12 to 18 where they perform every year, out of the possible 400 across the country. Last year Nellis attracted over 500,000 people, plus TV and print media, and this year theyre expecting the same of better.

The PATRIOTS perform a breath-taking 14-minute aerobatic routine that consists of highly-skilled choreographed maneuvers such as: formation loops and rolls, opposing loops, the Cuban eight, vertical rolls and the PATRIOTS signature maneuver the Tail Slide" in a jet!

Compared to venues like NASCAR, air shows are a bargain for the sponsors, and the crowds are growing. HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND AIR SHOWS?

Based on the information ICAS has gathered through their Event Organizer Survey, they estimate that between 15 million and 18 million spectators attend air shows throughout North America each year.

Were eager to see if EBAY will attract sponsors. Either way, well be at Nellis, and look forward to performing for the fans."
