Become a Certified Personal Assistant

The first certification program for celebrity personal assistants to launch spring 2004

Celebrity Personal Assistants, Inc (CPAI) announced the country's first formal certification program for personal assistants. In association with The American Management Association, CPAI will offer self-paced learning to individuals interested in pursuing a career as a personal assistant. Certification also provides those currently working as an assistant, the edge they need in today's competitive workplace.

"We feel that our curriculum is the optimal learning choice for students. Each course will enable students to learn proven, relevant new skills. They will also gain the respected credentials that transform learning experiences into workplace performance," said Corliss Willis, VP of Human Resources, Training and Development for CPAI.

There's no time limit on completion. That's the beauty of a self-paced program! However students are encouraged to complete their certificate within a year to keep up their momentum. The program will be delivered via an online platform as well as study-at-home manuals. Our online platform lets our instructors create an online classroom that includes tests and quizzes, discussion forums, a course calendar," Ms. Willis added.

CPAI Instructors are current adjunct college professors as well as experienced personal assistants. Upon completion, students will be awarded certificates by CPAI and AMA as well as receive a minimum of 5 accredited Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
