20 Year Old Arizona Student Filmmaker Produces Short Film Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) November 13, 2003 A 20 year old student at the University of Advancing Technology (UAT) produces short film. The 20 year old student  Ryan Spevack states ÂI have produced an artistic short film, about a story that revolves around a girl who decides to start a bad relationship with a drug addictÂ. ÂShe has to make a decision on what to do when she is pushed to the limitÂ. The Film was produced by his Non Profit company, Zero One Entertainment. The short film is titled ÂMainlineÂ. Some of the reviews Zero One Entertainment has received so far for the short film is ÂDark and EdgyÂ, ÂSent a Chill Up My SpineÂ,ÂDisturbing'. The film was done utilizing the latest in digital video technology, under a limited schedule, and budget. Other alumni and students from UAT are involved with the film. The director and editor of the film Edward Anthony Mendoza states ÂI decided to use the latest digital video equipment because it provides filmmakers the necessary tools to be as creative as possible during, and after productionÂ. The Visual Effects Supervisor of the film David Shorey states ÂIt was possible for me to create and apply dozens of visual effects for Mainline because Zero One Entertainment was using the latest in digital video technology. If it had been film, the process would have taken much longer, thus affecting the budget and schedule of the filmÂ. Mainline is about two sisters who are preparing to leave town for good when the careless sister Natalie (Lauren Salevsky), starts going out with a seemingly harmless guy Rick (Scott Conditt), who she meets at a party. Unknowing to Natalie, Rick is a man of two faces; as his daily routine includes diverse mind-altering drugs. When things start to get serious the over-protective sister Michelle (Kriste Stull) takes matters into to her own hands as she tries to breakup this downbeat relationship.
