The CD, which features former Mercury Records vocalist, Gene Miller, was honored by both the Parents’ Choice Foundation and the iParenting Media Awards Program.

The Parent’s Choice Foundation Award is given to products that exceed standards set by parents, educators, performing artists, librarians, and kids themselves. The Foundation finds and recommends products that help kids grow and are fun, safe, & socially sound.

"A Father’s Lullabies" has previously won NAPPA and Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Awards and was voted “BEST TODDLER CD” by the Children’s Music Web. The company’s 2001 release, "Dream With Me Tonight – Lullabies For All Ages", has garnered 6 music awards for excellence. Both CDs were inspired by the birth of Sherwin’s son, Alec.
