Abaris Training and Finish Line Join to Help Students Learn Advanced Carbon Fiber Composite Repair and Manufacturing Skills

Benicia, Calif. (PRWEB) April 27, 2008 -- Motorsports Composites Training, Inc. (www.m-c-t.org), in association with Abaris Training Resources, Inc. and Finishline Advanced Composites, today announced a 5-Day training course for carbon fiber composite manufacturing. Two courses will be held on July 21-25, and August 25-29, 2008 at Finishline's state-of-the-art manufacturing center in Benicia, California. Instruction will be provided by Jay Carpenter, who has over 20 years of experience in advanced composite prototyping, tooling and fabrication.

The course curriculum includes extensive hands on training using the highest quality equipment available in laboratories which are technologically second to none. Students will learn about material selection for manufacturing new parts or making repairs, working with metal and composites, resin systems, when to use substitute materials, damage assessment methods, wet repairs, lay up and cure techniques, auto clave processing and much more.
