DC Fashion Design Label Moojoo Ken Targets Minna as a Designer of Interest

Minna accepts moojoo ken's invitation to join their emblem project, a celebration of the international symbol for "place of interest." The DC fashion design house (http://www.moojooken.com), moojoo ken, fell in love with this symbol as children and officially adopted it two years ago. If moojoo ken also loves Minna, then it makes sense that the design house would seek her interpretation of this lovely shape.

(Vocus) April 28, 2008 -- Minna accepts moojoo ken's invitation to join their emblem project, a celebration of the international symbol for "place of interest." The DC fashion design house, moojoo ken, fell in love with this symbol as children and officially adopted it two years ago. If moojoo ken (http://www.moojooken.com) also loves Minna, then it makes sense that the design house would seek her interpretation of this lovely shape.

"Not everyone is invited for this project," says Heather Dadmanesh (http://www.moojooken.com). "We are kind of picky. And we are patient, because an accomplished designer such as Minna (http://www.designsbyminna.com) has a large following with a lot of demands. I remember when she built the prototypes in her studio and sent us the blurry photos with her iPod. We were so excited! When her special designs (http://www.moojooken.com) arrived at our store, we opened the package with such...reverence."

And this is what moojoo ken seeks to deliver: their own creative lines served alongside very special collaborations, with enough passion to flex their brick row house walls.

Two of Minna's designs selected for the "emblem project" are being unveiled in May. Additional releases are scheduled monthly throughout summer 2008. The exclusive designs (http://www.moojooken.com) will only be available in store initially and then online at the discretion of the design house. These are limited edition, hand-made pieces featuring natural stones and sterling silver or gold fill. One of Minna's earring designs (priced at $68) features a watery blue topaz that gently escorts admirers to a calm paradise.

Collecting designs by Minna is an honor, and moojoo ken will continue to hold a special seat for her in their house. The emblem pieces, as well as Minna's own collection, are available at moojoo ken's retail location at 1512 U Street, NW, Second Floor, Washington, DC 20009.
