AuctionZip.com Introduces Photo+ Targeted Photo Advertising for Auctions

AuctionZip.com announced today the launch of AuctionZip Photo+, the internets first photograph based advertising system. The website, which advertises and promotes live auctions, will allow auctioneers to feature photos of specific items targeting potential buyers by keywords, category, and location.

Bedford, PA (PRWEB) April 30, 2008 -- They say "a picture is worth a thousand words", and in the auction industry that saying certainly holds true. AuctionZip.com the nation's largest live auction website features over 20,000 auction (http://www.auctionzip.com) listings from 11,000 auctioneers nationwide. About half of those listings have photo galleries attached showing the buyers items that will be found at the auction. Now for as little as 75 cents, those photos can be transformed into an advertisement driving traffic to an auctioneer's listing, and more importantly buyers to their auction. When buyers using the website enter their search criteria for the auction listings they are looking for, photos matching their criteria are also returned.

According to AuctionZip.com Co-Founder Steve Johnson, a large percentage of the websites 700,000 monthly users gravitate towards the listings with photo galleries, and in many cases will view the photo gallery before deciding whether or not to even read the listing. This trend inspired the websites latest innovation.
